In collaboration with VNGi and the hromadas of Kherson and Vyeskopillia, students in the EXTREME studio looked into the design for a hub from which the rebuilding effort can be coördinated. Three locations we chosen, one in Kherson, one in Vyeskopillia, and one group worked on a generic solution.
With lectures from TNO, CARE International, VNGi, MoD, Project Safe Refuge, TU Delft academics, and officials from Ukraine the students worked on a challenging brief, to build for safety, speed, and flexibility.
Thanks to all our students, lecturers, UNUN.nu, Booosting, Octatube, Foster and Partners, Buro Happold, Wilkinson Eyre, and so many others for their help in making this project a success.
